What is Tai Chi?

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese art of self-defense and is often called a moving meditation. Qi Gong is the study to increase and balance one's energy. Through the study of Tai Chi and Qi Gong, a person can learn to balance physically, mentally, and spiritually. The movement itself can be described as effortless and flowing like water. It is soft on the outside but stable and firm on the inside. Maintaining one's balance and stability allows one to build up flexible strength. As a person learns to relax, they can calm the mind and learn to harmonize the mind, body, and energy.
